MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Rafael Nadal eased fears that a back injury might prevent him from playing in next week’s Australian Open with a full-blooded training session on Saturday. The 20-times Grand Slam champion took to the John Cain Arena court in the late afternoon and appeared unhampered as he hammered balls across the net with trademark ferocity. |

07:51 Team Spain reached the semi-finals of ATP Cup 2021 |
Pablo Carreno Busta guaranteed Spain’s spot in the ATP Cup semi-finals on Friday with a win against Greece’s Michail Pervolarakis. Rafael Nadal, who led Spain to last year’s championship match against Serbia, has not yet competed in this edition due to a stiff lower back. But Spain has battled on with two of the Top 20 players: World No. 16 Carreno Busta and World No. 13 Roberto Bautista Agut. (via ATP Cup) |
