The tennis player and ambassador of Telefónica, Rafa Nadal, visited the company's offices in the Telefónica District this morning, where he was received by the president, José Mª Álvarez-Pallete, and by hundreds of employees.
Nadal, Telefonica's ambassador since 2014, has handed Álvarez-Pallete the T-shirts of his last two Grand Slams, US Open 2019 and Roland Garros 2019, and has subsequently visited campus 42Madrid, the Revolutionary School of programming without teachers, books or classrooms that Fundación Telefónica has just inaugurated.
Álvarez-Pallete and Nadal have had a talk on different topics, including their plans for the rest of the season, and aspects such as effort, teamwork and motivation, values shared by Telefónica and the Mallorcan champion, who has reiterated his gratitude to the company for their support at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, the tennis school that Nadal opened in Manacor (Mallorca) in 2016
