22:32 PHOTOS/VIDEO: Rafael Nadal at the Telefonica event in Madrid, 4 Dec 2017 |
|
From December 1 to 12, the Gran Flamenco Store in Madrid will be dedicated to Nadal with a series of innovative experiences and interactive activities on show. Fans have the chance to visit the exclusive selection of Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience pieces and play VR Movistar Nadal, a virtual reality game with which they can train and take part in the Rafa Nadal Challenge. And at one of the launch events, Nadal got to experience what it’s like to play against the ‘King of Clay’. With a crowd watching on, Nadal donned a virtual reality headset and began hitting against himself. With fans able to see his every move on the screen in front of them, they watched the 31-year-old hit several backhand shots. The Spaniard appeared to be taking things gently though, with his hitting speed well off the normal ferociousness he displays on the court. Source: express.co.uk Photos: Getty Images; EFE
