12:08 Rafael Nadal's message to Manolo Santana's family
|
Rafa: "I want to send this message to Manolo's family, who today are saying goodbye to him in Madrid. Unfortunately, I can't be with you and you have no idea how sad I'm for being in Kuwait and have no chance to be with you on such a sad day. You all know what Manolo means to me, the affection and deep admiration I feel for him and so many things we've been able to share during all these years... today's a very, very tough day for the Spanish sport and for all the people who got to know him. Manolo was an example in many things and, above all, he leaves a legacy forever. For all this and many more things, I can only say 'Thanks Manolo' and send a message of support to his family. A kiss and a big hug for everybody."
