Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow extended their winning streak to six matches Friday by reaching the quarter-finals of the Mubadala Citi DC Open.
The fourth-seeded Americans, who last week defended their Atlanta title, defeated fifth seeds Lloyd Glasspool and Santiago Gonzalez 6-4, 7-6(6). Lammons and Withrow dropped just five points behind their first deliveries and only four behind their second serves, according to Infosys ATP Stats.
[ATP APP]Continuing their quest for their biggest team title, Lammons and Withrow will face second seeds Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson in the last four. The other semi-final will feature sixth seeds Sadio Doumbia and Hugo Nys versus eighth seeds Rafael Matos and Marcelo Melo.
